Make-a-Wish Foundation

Chi Omega’s philanthropy is the Make-A-Wish foundation, a partnership that has been strong since its formation in 1895. Chi Omega nationally has raised more than 19 million dollars and has volunteered nearly 1,000,000 hours for Make-A-Wish. At the College of Charleston, this philanthropy is very close to our hearts. Our girls work hard to get to know the Make-A-Wish children of the local community in Charleston. We organize an annual fashion show to raise money for Make-A-Wish and provide the children with a fun and exciting event. In addition to that, when Zeta Gamma has raised enough money to grant an individual child their wish, our sisters throw a send off party to help get the child excited for their trip. Working with the Make-A-Wish foundation is something our sisters truly adore.
